Cycle Couriers

The new 'Green Wheel' cycle courier service is due to be launched by the end of June 2008.

A new home delivery service will commence from June 2008, this is funded by Leicester City Council and will initially be offered to the elderly and disabled. and will deliver your produce purchased from Leicester Market direct to your door. Here's how it works.

1. Register at Shop Mobility in the Market place. (subject to eligibility)

2. Receive 52 vouchers, one for each week of the year. And receive your free re-usable bag.

3. Go shooping placing your fruit and vegetables in your bag.

4. Drop your bag off at the designated collection point. (Shop mobility and your freindly Market Trader will advise)

5. There are two delivery times these are from 1:00 O'Clock and 3:00 O'Clock.

6. Arrive home and await your goods, if you're not in they will be delivered or placed in your alternative delivey point.

7. More than one voucher can be used per day / week. Extra vouchers can be purchased from Shop Mobility.

We intend to offer the scheme to the wider public later in the year

Please contact Tim Hudson on 0116 246 0048 for more information about this new service.
